Stress Management and Motivation
Key Discussion Points:
1. Exam Stress –Know about common signs of stress, such as anxiety, lack of concentration, or changes in behavior, and how to address them effectively. Although little bit of stress is healthy to motivate them to study.
2. Positive Environment at Home – By reducing unnecessary pressure and providing motivational words helps them in building their confidence.
3. Study Routine & Time Management – Help your child create a practical and achievable timetable that balances study and breaks, this will enhance their productivity.
4. Screen Time & Relaxation – Guide children to maintain a healthy balance between screen time ( if possible zero during the exam time) and relaxation activities like outdoor play or reading.
5. Nutrition food, Proper Sleep, and Exercise – Ensure that they eat nutritious meals and balanced diet (best is Ghar ka Khana with lots of greens and dal with ghee), Avoid fast food and outside food during exam time, get enough sleep, and engage them in some outdoor physical activity. This will help them to stay energized and focused.
6. Emotional Resilience – We can work hard though the results are not in our hands. Teach them how to handle success and failure with a positive mindset, to reduce anxiety and fear.
7. Breathing and Meditation –Deep breathing exercises, yoga, meditation, are simple relaxation techniques to keep their minds calm.
8. Avoid Comparisons – Every child is unique and has different caliber, some are good at academics, some are good at sports, some artistic genius, some are born leaders, judging the child according to their result is unfair. Appreciate their efforts rather than comparing them with others, as every child has their unique strengths and learning pace.
